We are currently inviting donations for the next round of Awards to be launched in mid 2025. (Contributions to the 2024 awards, will still possible on special arrangement. Please contact us for more details)
Each award will be worth RM25,000, and we would be grateful for your funding either in part or in whole. Donors who are able to fund the whole of a RM25,000 award will be welcome to name their awards.
We particularly encourage Malaysians, wherever you may live, and residents in our beautiful country to come forward and help us foster a home-grown, grassroots funding community, caring for the place that provides us home. We would also be delighted to welcome visitors who may have developed an emotional connection to our nature from their travels here.
Because finding, vetting and raising the profile of our applicants takes time and money, 15% of what you give us will be used on running expenses which we will pledge to keep to a minimum . We will be happily give you a breakdown of our expenses and aim to reduce this percentage over time. The committee members and our executive board and are all working on a voluntary basis.

OUR COMMITMENT
RESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT
We aim to engender confidence in the selection and judging process by making sure that the process is wholly transparent and professional.
Accounts will be made open to the public and donors will be regularly kept in touch. What’s more, you will have the opportunity to meet the final winners and understand their work.
Together with its expert advisors, the management have ongoing experience in setting up award schemes of this nature and accounting for third party funds.

COSTS
Running a well-vetted, professional award scheme, alongside the communication and outreach necessary to secure impact takes resources. Therefore 15% of your funds (a standard percentage for award schemes), will be used to cover the administration of the awards, including supporting the applicants through the process, and ensuring that the judges have all the information they need to make their decisions.
None of your funding will be used to pay salaries for committee members who will be donating their time to the development and running of this scheme. Over time as the scheme grows, we hope to reduce the proportion spent on this essential administration but we can give you a pledge that it will never rise above 15%.
